Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA) and Ukraine entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 06 November 2017.
The MOU signifies the start of a mutual learning platform for academics and Senior Government Officials from both countries to exchange ideas and best practices.
The MOU was signed by Professor Er Meng Hwa, Vice President, (International Affairs), NTU and H.E. Dmytro Senik, Ambassador of Ukraine in Singapore. Professor Alan Chan, Dr Chew Soon Beng, Mr Victor Tay, Dr Dai Shiyan, Mr Gennadiy Plis, Mr Andrii Gyzhko, Mr Yevgen Vilinskyy and Mr Rostyslav Zamlynskyy, witnessed the signing ceremony which took place at Raffles Marina.
Under the MOU, NCPA and Ukraine will collaborate in the training of Senior Officials from Ukraine. The partnership will draw on the strengths of NCPA's extensive network in governance and public administration.
The programme, generously co-sp onsored by Cargill Asia Pacific Holdings Pte Ltd, will also facilitate further exchanges of knowledge and ideas between academics and Senior Government Officials from both countries for mutual benefit, and advance the shared interest in raising the standards of leadership and governance.
The official opening ceremony for the inaugural group of 23 Senior Officials from Ukraine was held after the MOU Signing ceremony.
