Executive Development Programmes (English)

NCPA Executive Development Programmes (formerly known as Executive Training Programmes) are geared to senior government officials from Asia and beyond. Since 1992, over 15,000 senior Chinese government officials have benefited from our programmes. Since 2011, NCPA has been working closely with and offering these programmes to central government organisations in Southeast Asia. To date, we have conducted our programmes for over 1,000 senior government officials from Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, the Philippines, Laos, Malaysia and India.
Our executive development programmes focus on practicality and applicability, drawing from the public administration successes of Singapore over the past five decades. We have a strong pool of professors, lecturers, practitioners and senior Singapore government officials to share their experience. The programme includes learning beyond the walls of the classroom as there are site visits to various relevant government and corporate organisations.
Focusing on themes drawn from public administration and public policy, we design and customise our programmes to meet the specific requirements of different countries. With our rich resources, we cover a wide array of topics, including but not limited to the following:
  • Advanced public administration management
  • Community development and management
  • Globalisation and talent development strategy
  • Development and management of a harmonious society
  • Strategic thinking and leadership upgrading management
  • Modern corporate governance and monitoring mechanism
  • Building a clean and efficient government – Singapore’s experience
  • Development of the ruling party
  • Singapore’s success stories in economic transformation and a sustainable economic development model
  • Developing a world-class liveable eco-city – Singapore’s experience in urban planning and management
  • Towards a globalised university - NTU’s experience in higher education management and development
